You have survived the whirlwind first few months of parenthood! Now you want to capture your gorgeous little one. You are probably wondering what is the best age? The reality is all ages are great, you are capturing something different at each stage.
At 3 months we capture gummy smiles and a bit of personality.
At 7 months baby is starting to sit up and loving tummy time.
Around age 1 they are on the move - wriggling, rolling, crawling and sometimes walking!
No matter what age you choose to come in, we will capture beautiful portraits of your baby.

The Portrait Session:
The Portrait Session is up to 45 minutes with Tanya Crosbie, our award winning photographer. She has years of experience and extensive training working with babies, including 3 of her own.
The Order Session:
This is where you get to sit back and relax while you enjoy viewing your portraits presented in a slideshow set to music. We will help you to make the best selection of sizes and display options to compliment your home.

When should I book my session?
Our Saturday sessions are very popular and book up several months in advance so ring us as soon as you can.
What age should I photograph my baby?
Babies are gorgeous at every age, you are just capturing something different.
Where does the session take place?
Your baby session will take place in our cozy and relaxing home studio in the picturesque village of Malahide. We have all the lights, props and blankets you will need.
How long does the session last?
Baby sessions are scheduled for up to 45 minutes which allows plenty of time for a variety of portraits and little breaks.
Can parents and siblings get in the portraits?
Absolutely! I love capturing baby with mom and dad! Because how often do you get a great photo of all of you? Siblings are very welcome to snuggle up to the newest member of the family for a beautiful portrait. Most parents find it difficult to capture their children so we do it for you. Tanya has 3 boys of her own so is well experienced in coaxing children.
What do I bring and wear?
We have just about everything you need but we will email you a guide for clothing before your session. Tanya will give you a call before your session to go over the details and answer any questions.
What if my baby won't smile?
Some of my all-time favourite portraits are babies not smiling. At this age their eyes are big and round, full of wonderment of the world around them. There is such an innocence to this style of portrait. But, don't worry, we almost always get a smiling photo too!
When do I see my portraits?
We schedule an order session for you 1-2 weeks after your session. Tanya will narrow down your images to the best 20-25 for you to view in a beautiful slide show. She will then help you to select your favourites and design a stunning display for your home.
